Working with parents to improve outcomes

Our programs are underpinned by our philosophy of ‘learning through play’, as this is how babies and young children learn to understand, communicate, discover, imagine and create as they explore the world around them.

We will partner with you to carefully create an innovative early childhood program that suits your child’s interests and abilities, meets the National Quality Framework and changes as your child develops. Our educators will guide your child’s play by carefully designing engaging and stimulating learning activities, and building on these as your child grows and develops.

Getting out and about

To promote children’s development, we take short walks around our local neighbourhood and occasionally travel to the Adelaide Zoo, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and SA Museum as well as attending suitable children shows, to extend their skills.

We are inclusive

Children with additional needs and their families are supported with additional resources and by the engagement of specialist agencies.

Learning spaces

Our centre is made up of three character bungalows that combine to create a home-like atmosphere and house four main learning spaces.

When your child is ready to move into the next learning space, their transition will be supported with short visits in the lead up to moving so they can become familiar with their new educators, routines and friends. These visits will become progressively longer until they have settled in.
