Purpose not profit

We are a community of educators and families who are committed to developing each child’s full potential by providing high quality care and individually tailored education for children from birth to school age. As an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation, we care about your child’s needs— not making a profit— and reinvest all surplus funds into the centre to benefit the children.

Family involvement

We welcome all families to our community and encourage everyone to be involved in our centre. We particularly invite families to help us celebrate diversity by contributing to and participating in cultural events.

We also invite family members to join the Parent Advisory Committee.

Parent Advisory Committee

Management and staff of the Torrensville Community Childcare Centre are assisted by the Parent Advisory Committee. The committee is a way for families to be involved in an advisory, consultative and decision-making capacity in the development and implementation of policies that reflect a clear statement of the centre’s philosophy.

Members of the committee actively encourage families to provide feedback on any centre policies or significant procedures so their views may be represented at meetings, which are held monthly between 6pm to 7pm. All family members are welcome to join the committee and can do so at any time by speaking with a member or our Director.
