What to bring each day

What to pack

Please pack a bag clearly labelled with your child’s name with the following items:

  • two to three changes of clothes, including socks
  • a clearly labelled water bottle filled with water
  • a warm jacket and rubber boots during winter

Your child may also need:

  • enough nappies for the day (six is usually sufficient)
  • a clearly labelled bottle and enough formula for the day
  • a dummy or other comforter as used at home (if required)

If your child is toileting please pack:  additional changes of clothes, including socks a nappy for sleep time, if needed

What to dress your child in

Please dress your child in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that fully covers their shoulders and appropriate non-slip footwear that fits securely to their foot. It is advisable to also pack a jacket and beanie in the winter months.

For safety reasons, please avoid thongs and loose scuffs as well as clothing with ribbons, ties or strings as these can be a choking hazard.

If your child is toileting, please dress them in underwear and pants that can be easily pulled up and down (eg: tracksuit pants and elastic waisted pants). Please avoid overalls as they are difficult for children to undo in a hurry.
